I am planning on going travelling round SE asia with my girlfriend at the end of the year starting in Thailand, but i have read up online that you need proof that you will be leaving the country, such as a return flight home. I have been to Thailand before in Feb 2020 and I never needed this then, and have spoke to a friend of mine who as also been to Thailand and he never had a return flight booked either. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
Do I need proof of onward travel when travelling to Thailand?
