Developers urged to revise space usage

The living space in townhouses of Siri Place, Prachauthit 90. New surveys suggest homebuyers are interested in having space to work from home.

Residential developers and office landlords should revise space design and use because there has been an abrupt shift in behaviour towards work among homebuyers and office tenants, says a property portal.

Kamolpat Swaengkit, country manager of DDproperty.com, said three-quarters of consumers prefer a residential unit that is compatible with working from home.

“Homebuyers or tenants will look for a larger living room or a space with a good environment for working or holding a meeting at home,” she said.
