Thailand’s successful Scoozi Italian Restaurant Ltd has been acquired by Thailand based Destination Eats (DE), a part of Destination Group (DG). This also signals the Destination Group’s desire to further expand its food and beverage offering by Destination Eats into the popular Italian-Pizza category that has seen exceptional growth in Thailand during the past 25 years.
Scoozi opened its first location in Bangkok in 1997 before expanding progressively to 24 branches across Bangkok by 2018. Scoozi restaurants specialise in Neapolitan-style wood fired pizza and pasta for both the dine-in and delivery markets and have gained a significant brand awareness for craft-style pizzas in the local market.
