Bangkok, Thailand, December 15, 2021- Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. awarded the 2021 Northern Thailand School Scholarships to 20 schools and 416 students in both Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai Provinces. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Delta limited the annual onsite visits to seven schools and student families without holding award ceremonies.
Delta’s annual Northern Thailand School Scholarship project aims to assist and encourage rural students in need and help upgrade facilities at schools in remote mountainous locations for a better learning environment. At the 20 designated schools, Delta sponsored the renovation of classrooms, lighting, bathrooms and roofing. Delta also donated essential supplies including fans, water pumps, water filters, printers, desks and chairs.
