Dechapol, Sapsiree eye Finals glory

Mixed doubles aces make it two in a row

Mixed doubles stars Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai claimed their second BWF World Tour Super 1000 titles in a fortnight with a straight-game win yesterday.

The top-seeded Thais defeated fourth-seeded Seo Seung-Jae and Chae Yu-Jung of South Korea 21-16, 22-20 to win the US$1 million Toyota Thailand Open at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani.

World No.3 pair Dechapol and Sapsiree, who claimed their maiden Super 1000 crown last week at the Yonex Thailand Open, took home the US$74,000 (approximately 2,220,000 baht) winners’s cheque while the Koreans received $35,000…
