Hi folks, my wife(Thai) has an absolutely awful human being for a mother, with no exaggeration. She(my wife) is worried that either a) her mum will take out large loan in her name and after she dies the debt is transferred to her daughter, or b) she manages to take out a loan in my wife’s name without her knowledge.
It sounds wild to me but I don’t know much about the laws in Thailand. Does either scenario sound at all possible?
