Arrived in Phuket a couple of days ago and obviously the weather has been especially wet, even for rainy season. We spoke to a tour guide who was trying to persuade us to book a trip to Phi Phi Islands on Saturday, but we told him we’d think about it.
I’ve read lots of reviews of these trips that say many of the companies don’t give much thought to safety, and it’s not wise to go when the weather is bad, even though they’ll tell you it’s fine. The reviews for this company online seem to be very good, but still not sure it’s wise? We’re here until October 31st so could hold out for the weather improving, but according to the 10 day forecast this Saturday/Sunday will be the nicest days, with it getting worse again next week.
Should we trust the company and book or would that be potential suicide?
