Hi all,
We’re visiting Thailand for the first time but can only spend 5 days in Chiang Mai due to a wedding/restricted time off. Has anyone got any recommendations of cultural activities or visits that are worth doing? We’re a bit templed out from previous destinations in the last year. Ideally we wanted to visit some of the Hill tribe/villages but can’t seem to find anything authentic without an overnight stop. We’ve planned a cooking class and a nightmarket/street food tour with a local already.
We would especially like to try a Khantoke dinner experience if anyone has a recommendation!
Also on an unrelated note a lot of restaurants mention corkage quite often on their websites (being free – 1000THB), is this because they don’t serve alcohol or theres just a culture to bring your own bottle anyway?
