Court again denies bail for four protest leaders

The Criminal Court on Wednesday again rejected a request to temporarily release four protest leaders facing royal insult charges.

Their lawyer, Kritsadang Nutcharas, made a third attempt to win bail for Anon Nampa, Parit “Penguin” Chiwarak, Somyot Prueksakasemsuk and Patiwat “Mor Lam Bank” Saraiyaem with a 200,000 baht surety for each of the four.

Mr Kritsadang said the court denied the request, citing the same reasons used for earlier rulings.
