Cost of Living Breakdown

I'm planning to live in Chiang Mai for maybe a year or less.

My monthly budget is $800
I cannot go above this.

Although I have a fair idea of condos I am cluless about the utility bills and other costs.

Can someone give me a basic breakdown of their monthly expenses?

Also I'm a Muslim so I'm worried that cheap local food stalls might not have halal food. It was widely available in restaurants when I was in Phuket because there's a sizeable Muslim population there but local stalls were still very much non-halal.

Also, is there any website that can help me find a place where I can maybe share a house or condo with someone?

Edit: Okay I think this information is important: I live in a third world country and my lifestyle can be best described as lower middle class. Yes I can afford a much better lifestyle now but I've just been scared of getting used to things I might not be able to afford in the future and I have the middle class guilt lol. the only thing I've let myself get used to is air conditioning. I absolutely can't live without it.

I don't drink I don't smoke. I do want to explore as many places and cities as I can while I stay there.
My visa expenses are already accounted for and are not a concern atm.

the $800 is just for lodging, food, utilities, wifi and commute.

Some of the comments here have been very helpful and I think instead a dormitory would be best for me (no kitchen).

I'm still searching for the best area for me. Hopefully something near a mosque or close to my embassy.
