A senior police officer has been infected with the coronavirus, and it could be linked to the birthday party held by Techin “DJ Matoom” Ploypetch.
His infection prompted the closure on Monday of the Criminal Records Division at police headquarters, where the officer works, for three days. It will be sprayed with disinfectant.
Pol Maj Mongkol Juthanon announced that his test for the virus on Friday was positive and he was under treatment at Police General Hospital.
