Singapore: “Unstoppable” Angela Lee defeated Stamp Fairtex to retain her One women’s atomweight world championship at the weekend.
Singaporean-American Lee spent more than two and a half years away from the circle to focus on her pregnancy and becoming a mother before her return to the organisation’s 10-year anniversary spectacle.
Prior to that, Lee became the youngest person to ever win an MMA world championship, defeating the likes of Xiong Jing Nan and Mei Yamaguchi.
Thailand’s Stamp, meanwhile, went on a tear through the One atomweight MMA division, having previously won the One women’s atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world titles.
