Contest seeks creators with carbon conscience

Do you know that global carbon footprint related to tourism accounts for about 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions? The amount has increased from 3,900 to 4,500 tCO2e between 2009 and 2013 and is expected to soar to 6,500 tCO2e by 2025.

To promote awareness on low carbon tourism within the country, the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is holding “Low Carbon Contest: Vlog – The Journey Season II”, which offers cash prizes worth 200,000 baht in total.
