Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has signed a contract with an industry consortium for the development of hydro-floating solar hybrid project at Ubol Ratana Dam in Thailand.
EGAT signed a deal with MPD Consortium, consisting of Mitr Phol Energy Services, PEA ENCOM International, and Dongfang Electric International Corporation for the delivery of the project in Thailand’s Khon Kaen Province.
Boonyanit Wongrukmit, EGAT’s governor, said that the project at Ubol Ratana Dam is a part of EGAT’s clean energy development strategy, as the company plans to develop an additional 15 hydro-floating solar hybrid projects nationwide to support renewable energy demands…
