Company in Loei

Hey fellow redditors! Firstly I want to apologize for a possible overlap with Thai tourism but I figured it’d fit here as well.

My parents are living part time in Chiang Khan, Loei (Isaan). They’re multinational so one Thai (albeit not from Isaan originally) and one foreigner. They’re very much enjoying their time here but especially the foreigner is feeling a bit isolated. So I figured I’d ask here if anyone knows of any tips or if there’s a community of english-speaking foreigners fairly close by, as in preferably the province? Perhaps my Google-fu is weak but a few quick searches didn’t yield much results so I figured I’d try my luck and help the ol’ folks out by checking here.

Also I’m here visiting from Phuket for about a week if anyone happens to be staying close or passing by and care to meet up!
