Another three Covid-19 deaths and 1,217 new infections were reported in Chon Buri on Thursday, with most of the new cases in Si Racha, Bang Lamung and Muang districts.
The rate of infections in this eastern province remained high. The number of daily cases has surpassed 1,000 since Feb 23.
The provincial public health office on Thursday reported that the three latest fatalities were aged 61, 65 and 85 years. All had an underlying health condition. The 61-year-old received a second dose of vaccine on Oct 14 last year and the two others were not vaccinated.
