Bangkok immigration officers raided a Chinese restaurant operated by three Chinese men who did not have work permits.
The restaurant “Chaosan Osha” was located on Rama 9 Road in the Bangkapi sub-district of Huay Kwang district, Bangkok.
Immigration officers led by Pol. Col. Rapeepat Utsaha raided the restaurant yesterday, January 23rd, and found three Chinese men, namely “Yang,” “Chin,” and “Chern,” working in the restaurant.
Yang, 38, was dealing with accounting while Chin, 38, and Chern, 31, were working in the kitchen when the police entered the place.
The police said the suspects had entered the kingdom on tourist visas.
The Chinese tourists were charged with working without a work permit, which could lead to their deportation and the blacklisting of their names from entering Thailand.
The police urged citizens to immediately report any illegal activities or businesses operated by a foreigner to them.
