I am going to Chiang Mai for 4 nights. I want to do go to Doi Inthanon, sticky waterfalls or any other places that are nature based.
It seems most of the places require a tour to get around but it’s not cheap. I was hoping to use local buses and songthaew as much as possible to reduce costs. I also think tours last too long as I am quite a fast paced traveler. I do not feel comfortable driving.
Give me your best nature recommendations that are accessible without having to do a tour!
Or also let me know if you’ve done Doi Inthanon and the sticky waterfalls without a tour/hiring a vehicle. Are these places worth going to or are they overrun by tourists? Is there somewhere else I can get to that is more serene and prettier
