Celebrate the female form with Adidas and Marimekko

For their fourth collaboration, Adidas and Marimekko celebrate the expression and movement of the female form.

Marimekko designers Maija Isola and Annika Rimala drew inspiration from a series of patterns called Ihminen, meaning Human, based on photographs depicting silhouettes of the female body.

Founded in 1951, the Finnish lifestyle design house is known for its original prints, with large-scale patterns and overlapping of vibrant colours becoming hallmarks of Marimekko’s designs.
