The drama and passion of the opera will come to Prince Mahidol Hall of Mahidol University, Salaya campus, this weekend as maestro Alfonso Scarano leads the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme of favourites from some of the world’s most beloved opera composers.

“A Night At The Opera” concert will take place on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 4pm. It will take the audiences to experience Giuseppe Verdi’s wonderful gifts for writing simple yet lovely melodies and lush instrumental overtures in selections from his operas Aïda, Nabucco and I Vespri Siciliani.
