A Cambodian boat worker bottled his so-called friend in the face while drinking alcohol in the Sattahip district.
Yesterday, May 28th, rescuers from the Sawang Rojanatham Foundation received a report of a migrant worker being physically assaulted and injured at a rented house located in the Sam San sub-district within Sattahip District, Chonburi province. After receiving the report, they coordinated with the Sattahip Police and rushed to the incident scene at 22:20 PM.
At the scene, authorities found a Cambodian boat worker, Mr. Keng Chok, 45, with lacerations and bleeding all over his face. They then provided him with initial medical assistance before transporting him to the Sattahip Hospital.
According to the residents who witnessed the altercation, they said the victim was drinking alcohol with his unidentified compatriot. Suddenly, they began to raise voices for some reasons, and the suspect grabbed a beer bottle and smacked Mr. Keng in the face before fleeing.
The victim ran to the local residents for help. He remains in hospital, however, his condition is stable.
