Calibration flight after weather improves, says Minister Ale – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

BHAIRAHAWA, JANUARY 9

Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has said that a calibration flight will take place at Gautam Buddha International Airport as soon as the weather improves.

While monitoring the airport yesterday, he said that the calibration flight could not take place due to bad weather in the last few days. “All preparations have been completed for the calibration flight. If the weather improves, we will carry out the calibration flight.”

Minister Ale also said that light services would start soon at Gautam Buddha International Airport.

On the occasion, he instructed the concerned authorities to complete the installation of new equipment and complete physical infrastructure under-construction at the airport as soon as possible. He also inspected the runway, control tower,…
