Humbly starting with handbags, Kornkanok Sawangruamchok has been producing fashion accessories since she was a senior at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy.

Over 23 years, the entrepreneur has established SHU as a lifestyle brand with a variety of fashion products, notably footwear, and expanded retailing to 22 locations nationwide.
“It has been a long journey of ups and downs. We just kept on making quality shoes without dreaming big. A rebranding, however, made us more ambitious in becoming a global brand,” said Kornkanok.
Her vision is expressed in the company’s name SHU Global, whose latest collaboration with British nobility will further build an international reputation.
