The Bank of Thailand affirms up to 80% of credit cardholders can repay their debt at the minimum payment rate of 10%, while the regulator prepares assistance measure to help consumers who cannot comply with the rule.

The central bank assessed there is a small number of credit cardholders unlikely to comply with the minimum card payment rules once they return to regular rates.
