It’s a celebration of Sarnia’s diversity.
Northern Collegiate Institute and Vocational School is holding its annual MAC Night on Thursday.
The event, put together by the school’s student-led Multicultural Awareness Committee highlighting international cuisine and entertainment, has not been held since 2019.
Teacher and MAC Club Advisor Harminder Deol, said the year’s theme is ‘Finding Strength in our Differences’.
“The biggest thing we thought was we’ve got to get our community together again,” said Deol. “This is a huge event, it’s a community event, we have different cultures, different associations and we all gather here. It’s through food and entertainment we kind of connect with our community.”
