Bitcoin is picking up momentum once again, reclaiming a record as it surges toward $60,000 amid optimism that the biggest name in cryptocurrency will achieve wider adoption.
The price of Bitcoin climbed on Friday to $59,473.16, bouncing back from a rout at the end of February following a previous peak set that month. The price in Thailand was quoted at 1.83 million baht.
Cryptocurrency is benefiting from optimism in financial markets after US President Joe Biden signed a $1.9-trillion pandemic-relief bill into law.
