September will get savourier at Bistrot De La Mer, a French-Mediterranean restaurant on the 19th floor of Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok in Soi Ton Son.
Two of the fanciest French bistrots in town will join culinary forces on Sept 15. Bistrot De La Mer’s chef de cuisine Slawomir Kowalik and Arnaud Dunand Sauthier, chef-patron of one-Michelin-star Maison Dunand and Alpea Bistrot, will collaborate on a four-hand dinner.
Kowalik has 16-plus years of culinary experience at five-star properties in international locations while Le Normandie at Mandarin Oriental earned two Michelin stars in the first edition of the Michelin Guide Thailand during Sauthier’s tenure, not to mention, his more than two decades of experience in fine dining. Given the calibre of both French chefs, expect a showcase of flavours and finesse.
