We’re planning to buy land Thailand. I’m from Germany but have a Thai nationality. The father of my girlfriend (foreigner) wants to buy land in Thailand ( for ca. 250k$ ). We want to buy it over a company we will create where I hold the majority, but he still has control.
We saw some nice land in south Thailand directly next to the beach, but had some concerns about the storms, floods and criminality.
Do you have some recommendations where we should buy land and some information if this buying structure is safe?

We want to build a few villas to rent them or live there ourselves. We planned to buy 3000m2 on the mainland near ko Samui, directly next to the beach.
