Best Elephant Sanctuary?

Hola!

I’ve been here for almost a month and haven’t visited an elephant sanctuary! Last time I was in Chiang Mai I went with the blue elephant, which is a really small sanctuary with only two elephants. However, I realized that it might not have been the most ethical, as the elephants were extremely trained (which I know is the result of pretty much torture).

I want to visit a really ethical one, however, I would love to help feed the elephants (which the Elephant Nature Park doesn’t do unless you buy the 6,000 baht experience). Can anyone recommend an ethical one where I could feed the elephants? I don’t even want to bath with them, just chill, watch them and feed them :)
