There’s a very long tail of expensive resorts and hotels on Phuket, but I’m not seeing much difference in some of the ones that are $3k+ thb per night and up besides how sprawling they are. Is the food markedly better there than at restaurants? Reviews are unhelpful generally since there’s always good and bad reviews for places with 8+ out of 10 rating. Examples would be the Kata Leaf vs. Beyond Kata
