Beetles eye another triumph

Chiang Rai United hope to continue their impressive start to the new Thai League 1 season by grabbing three points from their trip to struggling Khon Kaen United on Friday.

The Beetles, despite losing Ekanit Panya to Muang Thong United and Phitiwat Sookjitthammakul to BG Pathum United, are currently third in the league.

Chiang Rai coach Emerson Pereira is expecting a tough game in Khon Kaen.

“We will have some main players available for the game, but it won’t be an easy assignment for us. But we expect to create a good result and return home with three points.”
