When two blind patrons unable to grill their own meal contacted a downtown Korean BBQ eatery for information, owner Sirintra “Milk” Ruensukhon did more than welcome them.
The owner of the Me Seoul restaurant in Soi Sukhumvit 70 stepped up to help and personally prepared their food, a feel-good story she recounted last night on social media.
“Tonight, my heart is full, I’m very happy,” she said. “We are all friends. Brothers and sisters. If you can read this on your iPhone, I would like to say thank you very much. If there is another opportunity, allow me to help you grill, peel shrimp, and shellfish again.”
Sirintra first heard from the couple, who were not identified, in a message asking whether they would be able to dine at her restaurant due to barriers they had faced at other restaurants.
