Tourism Secretary-designate Christina Garcia Frasco has reached out to the government of Thailand and private travel companies in a bid to get more Thais to visit the Philippines. She met with her Thai counterpart, Tourism and Sports (MOTS) Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn and tourism stakeholders on August 18, on the sidelines of the 11th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation-Tourism Ministerial Meeting (TMM) in Bangkok.
In a news statement, the Department of Tourism (DOT) said the two ministers discussed ways to strengthen bilateral tourism ties between both countries.
