Prime Video recently announced the release of Comedy Island Thailand, the first Thai original to be available in Thailand and more than 240 countries and territories on the streaming platform. All six episodes are now available to stream.
Comedy Island Thailand follows the story of six actors — Chutavuth Pattarakampol, Pongsatorn Jongwilas, Kanticha Chumma, Rusameekae Fagerlund, Pattarasaya Kruasuwansiri and Chalermpol Thikamporntheerawong — who are abducted by two scientists to a mysterious island with the unenviable task of revitalising the spirits of its despondent inhabitants. In exchange for their freedom, our protagonists are forced to perform a series of unscripted improvisational skits for the island’s people and raise the gross happiness index to a satisfactory level.
