At night, Phra Narai Ratchaniwet comes to life with a spectacular light and sound show and a variety of cultural performances as the “Land Of King Narai The Great Festival 2024” runs until Sunday.
Organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand, visitors may dress in exquisite classic Thai costumes and explore the royal palace, travelling back in time to when the ancient town of Lop Buri served as the Ayutthaya kingdom’s second capital.
To celebrate the beauty of Thai culture, the ground is turned into a vintage market, where local villagers show their skills in making various traditional Thai dishes and desserts, garlands and other Thai-style handicrafts.
From 8pm, the reception hall doubles as a major entertainment venue, where the “King Narai, The Great Of The Land” light and sound show depicts the history of Lop Buri. The garden is trimmed with multicolour lightings…
