The “first happiness” of year will be presented as a gift to people in Bangkok during “Bangkok Festival 2024: Krungthep Dee Tor Jai” which will take place at Benjakitti Park on Ratchadaphisek Road, from tomorrow until Sunday. It will run daily from 7am to 7.30pm.
Held for the second year by Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the festival aims to promote a sustainable quality of life for urban dwellers while boosting tourism in the city.
The three-day event will be packed with activities that cater to the diverse needs of people of all ages and genders, supporting a lifestyle that connects the elements of “city-garden-forest-water” with “youth, communities and the people of Bangkok”.
They are invited to start the first Friday of year with merit making by offering food to monks at 7am before joining…
