Hi all,
My pregnant Thai wife unfortunately had to have our baby prematurely the other day due to complications. She is in ICU and so is the baby.
She does not have insurance as she couldn’t get pregnancy coverage.
We are currently at a top hospital in Sukhumvit (won’t reveal name but we are talking top 3 in Bangkok).
The prices are getting too high, I’ve had to get a loan from my bank and even then I don’t think it will be enough.
We need to move to both mother and child to a different hospital, does anyone have any good recommendations?
Also does anyone have any tips in navigating hospital fees when paying out of your own pocket here? The bill is going to be a million baht at least I think…
