Bangkok flower market hosts magical, living art installation (Photos)

University students and design studios have turned Bangkok’s most famous flower market into a living exhibition using the products for which the venue is famous.

Each installation comprising Form of Feeling at Pak Khlong Talat is meant to capture the emotions of the times. For Sadness, royal orchids are built up like a botanical shower to represent their popular use in religious ceremonies such as funerals and merit-making activities, while a cascade of white flowers capturing a yearning for inner peace comprises Calm

The exhibition is a joint effort by Humans of Flower Market, a group of Silpakorn University students; concert design specialist HUI Design Team; and lighting design studio Saturated Lights.
