Bangkok cops raid 2 clubs, make arrests for hard drugs

Dozens of revelers bent on Special K were busted in a raid on a Bangkok pub early yesterday, one of two venues raided over the weekend.

Police stormed into the 77society pub southwest in Bang Khun Thian district at about 2am on a tip that the nightclub was operating after closing time. More than 200 patrons were in attendance, 63 of whom were found to be in possession of drugs.

About 29 grams of ketamine were reportedly found at the scene. Other drugs police said they found included 12 packets of meth and 20 tablets of MDMA. Approximately 100 patrons tested positive for drugs in pee tests.
