Chiang Mai Night Safari has introduced a new member, a newborn greater kudu.
Born on April 18, the calf is the ninth member of the zoo’s greater kudu family. It is raised by its mother in the savanna safari zone.
Originated in Africa, the greater kudu is a large antelope. It has white stripes on the body and white hair between the eyes. The size can reach 100-150cm at the shoulder and weigh in the range of 170-315kg.
