Top-ranked Ko, Korda join star-studded field
World No.4 Atthaya Thitikul will lead the Thai challenge along with five compatriots at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore which tees off today.
The other five Thais at Sentosa Golf Club are major winners Ariya Jutanugarn and Patty Tavatanakit, Moriya Jutanugarn, Pajaree Anannarukarn and Pornanong Phatlum.
Atthaya, 20, won the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific title at Sentosa Golf Club in 2018.
The victory earned her a place in the HSBC Women’s World Championship, known as the HSBC Women’s Champions then, on the same course where she finished joint eighth.
