Nine artists have joined hands to bring a feeling of cheerfulness for the coming year through their works at “Come Rain Or Shine”, which is running at RCB Galleria 1 of River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24, until Jan 21.
When December arrives, having traversed through all 365 days, some may have sprinted straight to the finish line while a few might have left someone behind along the way. Also, there could be those who, no matter how much they’ve run, couldn’t outpace their rivals.
The exhibition’s title parallels the hurried pace of life filled with competition, expectations and the race towards success in work, life, family and relationships. It also poses questions about our unachieved endeavours while inviting us to reflect on our journey through life.
