Arsonists set fires that ruined 18 security cameras and destroyed a village sentry box, in Songkhla and Pattani provinces, police said on Monday.
The attacks began around midnight.
Burning tyres and tyre tubes destroyed six security cameras and a sentry box outside a village security office in Songkhla’s Chana district.
In Pattani, about 1.20am, a fire was reported at a power pole at a T-junction outside Wat Moleenimit at Ban Chamao in tambon Na Ket, Khok Pho district.
A fire crew from the Na Ket tambon administration organisation extinguished the blaze, which was found to have destroyed two security cameras fixed on the post.
