Armed Forces Instructed to Prepare Assistance for Covid-19 Infections –

The Royal Thai armed forces has been instructed to keep a close watch on the Omicron coronavirus situation and prepare medical staff and field hospitals for new COVID-19 patients.

According to Spokesperson for the Defence Ministry Kongcheep Tantravanich, Deputy Defence Minister Gen Chaicharn Changmongkol chaired a video conference meeting with officials from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, the Royal Thai Police, and the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) about the COVID-19 situation amid a spike in cases.
