Applying for the Evisa as a US green card holder

I am colombian national (Using a colombian passport) who is currently traveling asia. I wanted to fly to thailand in a month but unfortunately I’m running into issues with the Evisa application. I have a couple questions and if anyone can help me out I would appreciate it!

1. They ask me about my current location/ permanent residence, would my visa get denied if I didn’t fly out of the states?
2. During the application process there isn’t a place where I can submit my US green card information only the questions about my passport
3. when applying they wanna know all my booking confirmations of the places I’m going to stay at and the flight # of the incoming flight, as well as a letter of recommendation from a local. Would it be possible to have my thai friend say that I will be staying with them and recommend me? or would it be a hassle?
4. How long is the application process usually?
