I know this is a weird question for a Thai sub. My family is mixed northern Thai / Lao. I was born in the US and grew up learning English and Lao. My Lao fluency isn’t great. And when I speak to native Lao speakers, they know I wasn’t raised in Laos from my weird intonation and mixed native-foreign vocabulary.
My employer is sending me to work in Bangkok for 2-years. And I want to improve my Lao before moving on to learn standard Thai. Thanks for the suggestions.
