I ordered a pizza on foodpanda and it was super late, i’m talking like 2 hours so i messaged their customer service that it was taking way too long and i want to cancel it and receive a refund. They kept messaging me things that had no relevance to my request, how they gave me some coupon and to just wait. I said no, it’s too late and to please cancel it. The customer service guy stopped replying until like 10 minutes later when the order finally went into delivery phase after over 2 hours. The guy proceeds to cancel the order literally right after it enters delivery and the app tells me that i’m not entitled to a refund because the delivery was already being made. There’s no way to message anyone on the app about the particular order anymore so they effectively just took my money. It was only 200 baht and i didn’t want any more headache so i just cut my losses and deleted my account. I’m pretty pissed off about this, i’ll probably file a chargeback with my credit card company. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this just a normal practice here? Thanks.
