Another Non OA / Non O visa with a twist.

Looking for advice regarding Non OA / Non O but with a twist. Let me start by saying that this is not a question or discussion about my Filipino spouse being able find work in Thailand. It’s about changing her visa status.

It is my understanding that If I get the Non OA visa, my spouse would get the Non O which is good for three months convertible to trailing spouse under my Non OA. I hope this is correct, if not help me understand.

If my spouse finds employment within 60 days then she wouldn’t convert to trailing spouse but instead to Non B. If she doesn’t find employment within 60 days then she would convert to trailing spouse. 30 days before her Non O expires.

Can she convert to Non B in Thailand while under the Non O or trailing spouse? Will she need to leave the country and come back in on a Non B?

I don’t think this would affect my Non OA but I don’t know for certain.

Trying to figure out best method for me to retire under the Non OA or Non O with Filipino spouse who wants to work.

If it matters I’m US citizen over 50 with permanent residence in the Philippines.

Thank you
