Another parliament official has been diagnosed with Covid-19, raising the number of personnel in the complex found infected this year to 30, including 12 MPs.
Dr Sukij Atthapokorn, adviser to the parliament president, said on Tuesday that 12 MPs, 12 government officials, 2 cleaners and 4 other employees were infected since Jan 1.
From April 1 last year to Jan 31, there had been 128 people working in the parliament diagnosed with the virus – 22 MPs, 71 government officials, 20 cleaners and 15 other employees. He said 108 had already recovered and there was one death. Nineteen were still under treatment.
