Amazon Prime Video launches local version in Thailand today

If you’re starting to get annoyed by Netflix’s business drama, like its looming crackdown on password sharing, then it’s time to meet its rival: Amazon Prime Video. 

Beginning today, customers in Thailand will find a localized slate of content and Thai language user interface on Prime Video. The service went live today and offers viewers Prime content like the latest James Bond film No Time to Die, the dark superhero TV series The Boys, and the action-packed thriller The Terminal List

Audiences will also get to relive the harrowing rescue of the Wild Boars football team via the Ron Howard-directed Thirteen Lives, which will premiere on the platform this Friday. 



Another highly anticipated Prime original, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, will launch on Sept. 2.
